Classic Pickups: American Pickup History from 1930-1980

American pickup trucks - the most practical of vehicles - are absolutely everywhere. So plentiful and hard worked that it's hard to imagine an economy functioning without them. But the pickup is more than just a functional tool, it has worked its way deep into American culture. In part this is due to the fact that the vehicle is the modern-day mount of the cowboy and frequently mentioned in contemporary country music. Pickups are truly indispensable. This new special takes a look at the golden era of the pickup from the 1930s to the 1980s and is lavishly illustrated with photographs of the type from all the major American makers.
