After writing three successful novels, Olivia thought she had the whole 'author' thing down. But with an approaching deadline for her fourth novel, she finds herself with one dilemma: following the death of her fiancé, her leading male character is nowhere to be found. With the worst writer's block in her career, Olivia embarks on a journey of the ultimate leading man search: speed dating.

Theo is a man on a mission: find a date for his sister's wedding before his mother does. With the wedding in two months, Theo sets out to find his leading lady. After watching a woman speed date numerous men, ending each date by taking notes in a green notebook, his curiosity leads him to make a deal with Olivia. Theo will help her find her leading man, if Olivia acts as his fake date to his sister's wedding.
