Pathway to Knowing Jesus: A Commentary on The Gospel of John

WHAT ARE YOU SEEKING?"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...and the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us" (John 1:1,14, NKJV).

In The Pathway to Knowing Jesus, Janice Howard invites readers into a rich and accessible journey through the Gospel of John, revealing the heart of God through the life, teachings, miracles, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. More than a verse-by-verse commentary, this guided study uncovers the deeper spiritual truths woven throughout John's Gospel, illuminating Jesus as both fully God and fully man, the Savior sent to restore humanity's relationship with the Father.

Drawing from Scripture, historical context, respected biblical scholarship, and practical application, Howard explores profound themes such as the deity of Christ, salvation, grace, discipleship, repentance, eternal life, and the transforming power of faith. Whether examining the testimony of John the Baptist, the calling of the Twelve, the meaning behind Jesus' "I AM" declarations, or the hope found in the resurrection, each chapter encourages readers to move beyond information into genuine relationship with Christ.

Written for the God-curious, new believers, seasoned Christians, and Bible students alike, The Pathway to Knowing Jesus serves as both a devotional companion and an in-depth study resource. Through the unique lens of John's Gospel, readers are invited to encounter Jesus more personally, understand Him more deeply, and follow Him more faithfully.

The invitation remains the same as it was in the beginning:

"What do you seek?"
