The Rectifier

After serving in Afghanistan, Bosnia and for the British Government, ex-SAS Army Captain, Stuart Reece, wanted nothing more than to retire to his villa and enjoy a peaceful life, basking in the beauty of southern Spain and spend some time researching the locations where he served and the drug trade from Afghanistan. On one such fine day, he is shot, he survives the attempt to eliminate him. Reece is now determined to find the hitman. He later discovers that what he had begun to uncover was only the tip of the iceberg. Reece starts chasing an international drug trafficking business and all of its tentacles. Thus begins the race to reach the roots of all evil. Travelling through southern Spain to the Balkans, eastern Europe and into Asia, he realises that the hunt was leading him back to where traumatic memories of war and violence had scarred him, in Afghanistan. With the events unfolding, 'The Rectifier' brings light to the underworld drug trafficking business, terrorism, and how greed for power and money can shift even those that are our protectors into traffickers and criminals.
