Information Processing with Evolutionary Algorithms: From Industrial Applications to Academic Specul

This book provides a broad sample of current information processing applications, issues and advances using evolutionary algorithms. The editors present a range of works from successful and down to earth case studies to speculative academic research. It demonstrates how evolutionary algorithms have reached the maturity of an industrial-valuable tool, whilst still continuing to be a subject of academic research, through providing a glimpse of the large variety of problems tackled with evolutionary approximations and of the diversity of evolutionary algorithms themselves.
