This book comprises the Proceedings of the 14th International Engineering and Product Design Education conference E&PDE12, which was held 6-7 September 2012 at the Artesis University College in Antwerp, Belgium. The conference was held by Artesis University College in partnership with the Design Education Special Interest Group (DESIG) of the Design Society and the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED). The E&PDE series of conferences has for many years been a leading forum where representatives from education and industry who have an interest in sharing new perspectives on design education can meet. The 2012 conference theme, "Design Education for Future Wellbeing" aimed to provide a platform for participants to explore how education within the engineering and product design arena do, can or should promote wellbeing. In the book, 130 papers are published from an international community of design educators seeking to offer their perspectives on these issues.
