Decades

This collection comprises previously unpublished stories from six emerging Irish writers: Seán Coffey, Máirín Stronge, Sharon Guard, Gio, Sarah-Lou Ryan and Conor Clohessy. The authors are members of a gathering of writers drawn from the graduate cohort of the MA in Creative Writing at the University of Limerick. Together, they are The AdNibs collective.

Each story in The Decades is a voice echoing from a moment in time over the course of six decades, woven together from common threads: a priest, a house, the wild and windswept West coast of Ireland. The kind of place where anything can happen.

Each story stands alone, speaks from the heart of individual characters who at times struggle to make sense of the world, speaks too of the folk who make an impact without always knowing.
