Captain Torregoon and the Mystery of the Forward Walking Crab: A Pirate Adventure

England, 1586.

War with Spain looms in the shadows, and the deadliest battles are fought not on the seas, but in silence.

When trusted sea captain Sir Henry Abel is entrusted with a secret mission by Queen Elizabeth's elusive spymaster, he expects danger. He doesn't expect to become the keeper of a priceless royal jewel, a target for traitors within England's own court, or the unwitting guardian of secrets that could reshape history.

As spies close in and the Spanish Armada prepares for war, Abel uncovers whispered rumours of a hidden brotherhood, Christopher Columbus's lost journals, and evidence that the Knights Templar may have reached the New World long before history claims. Then reports of strange lights over Dorset and bloodless cattle mutilations hint at a mystery beyond human understanding.

With enemies on every shore and ancient secrets emerging from the darkness, Sir Henry Abel must decide whom he can trust before England-and the Crown-are lost forever.
