Bright Weaving

"Martin Springett was the first artist to render a visual interpretation of my work over forty years ago. To this day his images continue to be, for many people around the world and for this author, one of those rare cases of an artist's talent working beautifully to mirror and compliment the written work." - Guy Gavriel Kay.

Bright Weaving is a book of dazzling images associated with and inspired by the works of Guy Gavriel Kay. From their very first collaboration, when the Martin Springett produced the covers for the original editions of the seminal Fionavar Tapestry (The Summer Tree, The Wandering Fire, and The Darkest Road) the artist has demonstrated a strong affinity for the author's work, and that has never been more apparent than in this book. Page after page of sumptuous images that bring the written word to life.
