Poems for Life's Stages

From a poem about birthdays to a reflection on the passing of a good life simply lived, Linda's collection of poems hails from different stages of her life and in doing so rewrites some potent cultural stories to gently question power structures, identities, and happy endings.

Linda's poems are arranged following the four seasons as a nod to the philosophy of non-Western thought, where each season is equally valued in terms of learning and opportunity. Spring is depicted as a time of dire challenge as well as of growth, and conversely winter as a time of power, reflection and magnificence. These poems are yours to explore with each stage of life presented as a uniquely realised gift so every reader may find different resonances with their own life experiences.

Poems For Life's Journeys is the companion volume of Linda's poetry
