Under the Summer Storms

Kiki Hewitt once thought she had everything she wanted in life. A loving family, two beautiful homes, the best anybody could wish for in a friend, and to top it all off, Luke.
Kiki fell in love with Luke long before she truly knew what love was, and when she finally had his attention, she thought everything would be perfect. Once they married, the only thing ahead for them was a beautiful future together, one filled with opulence, happiness, contentment, and a beautiful family.
Except, life didn't go the way everybody expected, and Kiki is at a crossroad. Behind her is a complicated past, decisions made that forced her apart from Luke, fracturing their future.
As part of their attempts to reconcile, Kiki proposes a break from their marriage. A break to consider what they want, and whether that can be found with the other. Now, there is four months behind them and two more to go, and temptation suddenly lies in Kiki's path. Not only temptation, but danger, something demonstrated when Kiki is attacked her own home.
Unravelling what happened, with suspicion thrown on people she least expects, forces Kiki to consider everything in her life, and wondering where her future, and her heart, truly belongs.
