Stranger I Saved from the Sea: A sweeping historical romance of shipwreck, hidden identity, and forb

The Stranger I Saved from the Sea is a sweeping historical romance set against the real wreck of the Forfarshire in 1838, where a lighthouse keeper's niece shelters a survivor traveling under a false name and uncovers evidence that the disaster was not only a tragedy of storm and sea, but of human greed.

When the Forfarshire is shattered on the rocks off the Farne Islands, Eliza Fenwick helps shelter the survivors dragged from the sea. One is a gentleman traveling under a false name. Another, a woman carrying papers that could ruin powerful men, has vanished without a trace.

As the nation celebrates the daring rescue led by Grace Darling, Eliza begins to suspect that the wreck was more than misfortune. The storm was real. So was the fear aboard the ship before it broke apart. And someone on shore is determined that the dead, and the missing, keep their secrets.

Drawn toward a man she cannot fully trust, Eliza must decide how much she is willing to risk for the truth, for justice, and for a love that could ruin her as surely as the sea.
