19 Years Old 19 to Go

At 19, he was sentenced to life. With 19 years to go, he found his voice.

Convicted of murder as a teenager, Essjae faced a future confined by concrete and steel. But instead of succumbing to the violence that surrounded him, he weaponized his pain into poetry. 19 Years Old 19 To Go is not just a collection of verses; it is a raw, unfiltered journey through the UK prison system, from Category-A segregation to the road to redemption.

Inside this collection, you will discover:

• Unflinching Truth: Gritty realities of gang culture, incarceration, and the psychological toll of long-term imprisonment.
• A Warning to Youth: Powerful messages designed to steer at-risk kids away from the streets and toward potential.
• Hope in Darkness: A testament to rehabilitation, proving that greatness can emerge from awful circumstances.

From the haunting corridors of HMP Moorland to the therapeutic communities that aided his change, Essjae's words resonate with honesty and remorse. This is for anyone interested in criminal justice reform, true crime, or the resilience of the human spirit.

The tariff is set, but the story isn't over.
