Alice Mason and the Grand Wizardess

A girl with untold power. A teenage warlock with a tragic past. A hidden magical world. A children's home for mistreated/abused warlocks and witches.

Fourteen-year-old Alice Mason has no idea she's magical, but that soon changes on a school trip to the British Museum when she stands before the Blood Stone, and learns of her essencia connection to the fabled wizardess, Morgan Le Fay, and her destiny to be the most powerful witch in 1500 years.

Attacked by the mysterious Black Hunters, Alice is targeted by the malevolent Grand Wizard Valerius Mallagan, a direct descendant of the most evil wizard in history: Merlin.

So begins a thrilling magical adventure that propels Alice into the Enchanted Earth, where she learns the true history behind Arthurian legend. She also befriends a warlock with a tragic past, a charming werewolf, a carrier dragon named Maddie, a talking skunk, and a three-hundred-and-thirty-three-year-old Grand Wizardess, before becoming embroiled in a dangerous quest to find a legendary bird with the power to heal any wound or illness.

There are no wands, no broomsticks, no nose-less Dark Lords, but there's charm, action, wonder, and fun. Oh, and there's magic ... there's lots of magic!
