Other Worlds Before Dinner

Eight bedtimes. Eight worlds. One girl who can't help asking why.

Every night, when Fiona Orchard closes her eyes, somewhere extraordinary is waiting.

A red dragon who can't remember why he hates. An ancient astronomer certain the whole universe spins around him. A bumbling green alien who's mistaken her for her daughter. An elven kingdom where nothing ever goes wrong, which may be the most troubling thing of all.

Fiona visits them one dream at a time. She asks the questions grown-ups forget to ask, nudges a world or two toward something better, and is always home in time for dinner.

Funny, clever, and full of heart, Other Worlds Before Dinner gathers eight linked adventures about curiosity, kindness, and the courage to wonder why things are the way they are. Perfect for reading aloud at bedtime, or for any young dreamer who's ever wished their imagination could carry them somewhere new.
