Going for a walk? Out for a coffee? A wander along the beach?

Did you bring a pen and a pad of paper?

When Frank Prem was a young poet, he rarely left home without his preferred writing pad and pen. He understood that any place, at any time, might become the right moment to capture a thought - or a poem.

Now, with more than forty publications to his name, Prem returns to those roots in a poetic and pictorial journey across familiar ground. With pen, paper, and camera in hand, he reaffirms a simple truth: anywhere can be the right place to create.

Map references throughout invite readers to stand where he stood - to see what he saw when the poem arrived.
