Spend a delightful afternoon surrounded by nature in this heartwarming photo story designed to bring comfort, enjoyment, and meaningful moments of connection.

A Picnic in the Park follows a gentle outing to a beautiful park, where sunshine, fresh air, and simple pleasures create a memorable day. Spread out a picnic blanket beneath a shady tree, enjoy a delicious lunch, watch ducks glide across a sparkling pond, and listen to birds singing overhead. Along the way, discover the beauty of nature and the joy found in life's everyday moments.

Created especially for older adults, including those living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or cognitive decline, this book combines engaging photographs with easy-to-read text to support enjoyment, reminiscence, and conversation. The story can be enjoyed independently or shared with family members, friends, carers, and aged-care staff, creating opportunities for meaningful interaction and connection.

The familiar experience of a picnic may spark memories of family gatherings, holidays, community events, summer afternoons, and special moments spent outdoors with loved ones. Each page encourages readers to engage with positive memories while enjoying a calm and uplifting reading experience.

Perfect for aged-care facilities, memory support programs, dementia-friendly libraries, hospitals, community groups, and home use, A Picnic in the Park celebrates friendship, nature, and the simple pleasures that make life special.
