Lilly's World Comics & Stories: Real-Life Comics, Humorous Stories plus Healing and Inspirational Mo

This comic book 'LILLYS WORLD' is a unique book of comics, composed of a score of individual, comedic, page-length mini stories - plus a sharing of Lilly's mis-adventures told in text snippets. All humorously spot-lighting this sprite and zany, mid-aged, woman (Lilly's) lifestyle - whom does and says whatever. As she admits "What comes up comes out". For a precedent, there's the 1960's - 70's (TV character) 'Lucille Ball' of 'I LOVE LUCY' fame. Only, here, we have a petite, woman of Color - a Lucille Ball with a twist - who thinks outside the box. And like Lucy, beloved by all.

Now, LILLY, in her uniqueness, often expresses in the third person and loves to laugh at herself, and as well to roast her (questionable) mental lapses. And the fun is contagious - as she (with her various side-kicks) encourages us to lighten up (about fitting in or trying to project perfection).

This comedic effort is the workings of two Certified Mental health counselors, whom are also professional book and creative writers. And yes, the real Lilly 'Lillian Mitchum' is herself a counselor and book-writer - as is her sidekick here, the real 'W'. All, marking this one as beyond fun, but also therapeutic. And not just entertainment, but educational. Also, our star is a hope to others, that see bits of themselves in her. Yet, make no mistakes, the LILLY'S WORLD COMICS is about FUN, first. But also freedom - the freedom of choice - to be unique and yourself.

Yes, she's as they say 'is wired differently' but I say perfectly! Even as she's a success, and winning at life - as she's very accomplished academically and artistically. Yet above all, the biggest influence in Lilly's life, she offers, is her spirituality. Yes, her extreme reliance on God is her chief compass and hope. All in all, this is a making of a winner. And one of Lilly's favorite sayings is "If I can do it, anybody can do it!" So, in this confidence, let us laugh more and stress less and uplift each other and a bit of the world!
