Prehistory and the Classical Period

The history of science dates back to the history of human kind itself. Early people shaped stone pebbels into tools and weapons. They also learned how to use fire, and how to cultivate plants and animals for food. Recorded history began with the invention of writing, then calendars were devised to keep track of the seasons and new construction technologies enabled the building of cities.
