It's My Prerogative

Suddenly being thrust into the role of First Lady of a great church can be a daunting experience for any woman. She is now expected to be an example to all, and all eyes are suddenly upon her-whether she likes it or not. She is expected to pick up many mantles of ministry-whether or not she seems suited to them. She is expected to be wife, mother, professional woman and community organizer-all at once. But how can any woman successfully juggle so many roles? More importantly, her man is not "the man" of the hour. She has always been expected to stand beside him, but now that phrase has taken on new meaning. What does it mean to stand by your man in ministry in the twenty-first century?
