Raising Shane: The Stories

Raising Shane tells the stories of a child with special needs who grew into adulthood in the adoptive home which was his twenty-first placement during the five years he spent in state custody. It includes vignettes about adoption, foster care, hope, despair, redemption, love, and the determination of a young man who was able to overcome impossible odds because simply refused to give up.
