Opium Dreams: A Matt Chance Thriller

Opium Dreams dives into the drug world of the Golden Triangle which is exploding with new era manufactured drugs from untouchable drug kingdoms in the Thai border states. Matt Chance, a Thai-American and former U.S. Army Ranger, is asked by a Thai government security contact to join with Wan Jo, a retired Hong Kong Police Inspector, in an undercover investigation into Chinese criminal cross border activities in Thailand.
Matt soon learns that Wan Jo prefers to operate independently which puts them both in danger. They are threatened by the triad groups and, behind the Triads, the Chinese State Security figures that are the political forces behind the crime surge. Thai and U.S. agencies are monitoring the battle, but it comes to be a dangerous struggle for Matt and Wan Jo to survive the conflicting goals of the state parties.
