What makes model building so special is how it can bring people of various backgrounds and ideas together in one place. We meet online and proudly show our model building skills off. We show our work areas, our "man caves" and more off. We take critique from others in a constructive manner. We have conventions and meets where we admire the work of those who amaze us with their skills at making hundreds of pieces of plastic look like the real thing. Model building is one of the rare childhood past times that survive, and become with some a pleasant obsession. In other words, we enjoy a unique fellowship of plastic, putty, wood and paint.
