Copy Candidate

Political reporter Jill Parker expects another routine assignment when her editor sends her to cover a major announcement. Instead, she finds herself seated in the front row for an event that should be impossible.

Standing before her is Ronald Reagan.

The problem? Ronald Reagan died in 2004.

He looks exactly like Reagan. He sounds exactly like Reagan. He speaks with the same warmth, humor, and confidence that once captivated a nation.

Handpicked as the only reporter granted direct access, Jill is given an extraordinary opportunity to follow the mysterious candidate's rise toward the presidency. But the closer she gets to him, the more questions emerge. Who is this man? Where did he come from? And why does it seem that powerful forces are determined to keep the truth hidden?

As Jill investigates the greatest story of her career, she finds herself drawn to the man behind the legend-and caught in a growing web of danger.

Part political thriller, part mystery, and part unforgettable romance, The Copy Candidate explores what happens when the past returns to change the future.
