Drakon Prince: A Theodore Kieten Novel

Becoming a dragon should make life easier. Somehow, Theo doubts it will.

Theo Kieten has always suspected he was meant for something more than his ordinary suburban life. Then a beating, a floating game prompt, and one questionable decision awaken the dragon hiding in his blood.
The good news: Theo is stronger, tougher, and finally capable of protecting the people he cares about-especially Jenna, his best friend and longtime crush.

The bad news: he's starting at Level 1, rival dragons now know he exists, and transforming has already proven very hard on his wardrobe.

With Vale, the squire who has secretly watched over him since birth, and Jenna, now a newly awakened mage, Theo sets out for Bjargfold to reclaim his family's abandoned aerie. Getting there means crossing monster-filled grasslands, dealing with goblins and orcs, collecting plenty of loot, and learning what being a dragon actually involves. Meanwhile, his changing relationship with Jenna may prove almost as difficult to navigate.

Theo will need to level quickly, gather some unlikely allies, and turn a ruined fortress into a home. Preferably before a bigger dragon decides to take it from him-and perhaps after he finds something to eat.

Originally published in 2021, Drakon Prince returns in a new author-published edition as the first novel in the Crownlocked Heirs series.
