A new city. Ancient secrets. Deadly retribution. Deception has Consequences.

Seeking refuge from her past in South Carolina, Lucilla establishes a new life in the vibrant streets of New Orleans. But her hope for peace is short-lived when she stumbles upon The Order of Blood-a secret vampire coven that has governed the city for centuries.

Invited into the fold by Pandora, a mesmerizing vampire elder whose power matches her own, Lucilla enters a high-stakes world of dark politics and deadly secrets. When she uncovers a terrifying plot hatched by Pandora and her disciples, Lucilla realizes her newfound sanctuary is actually a battleground.

Worse still, vengeance has followed her to the Big Easy. Savannah Tillman, bent on destroying the vampire who made her, arrives in New Orleans flanked by Dorian Hunter and Detective Madeline Carmichael.

Surrounded by enemies on all sides, Lucilla must convince those hunting her to put aside their past grievances. Together, they might stand a chance against Pandora's bloodthirsty ambition-if they don't destroy each other first.

Author Kevin T. Fee, Jr. returns to bring the next haunting chapter in the harrowing saga of Lucilla, Mistress of Sorrow.
