Pond People

The Pond People is a supernatural horror novel that takes two of the most chilling concepts in American culture - the brutal legacy of Al Capone and the terror of the unquiet dead - and fuses them into something genuinely new. When a priest who carries Capone's blood unknowingly moves his family onto the ground where his father committed one of his most savage crimes, the result is a relentless, atmospheric haunted house story with a twist unlike anything in the genre. The dead in that pond have been waiting fifty years. They know exactly who just moved in. Fans of Stephen King, Paul Tremblay, and Mike Flanagan's Midnight Mass will find in The Pond People a supernatural thriller that is both deeply personal and genuinely terrifying - a story about inherited sin, unquiet dead, and the price of a bloodline you never chose.
