Counting Candles: Meaningful Milestones & Memories

What if the candles on a birthday cake could tell the story of a life?

Counting Candles: Meaningful Milestones & Memories is a heartfelt celebration of the moments that shape us-some joyful, some painful, some unexpected, and some so ordinary we don't recognize their significance until years later.

Across these pages, storytellers open the albums of their lives and invite us into the memories behind the milestones. We meet the children they once were, the people who changed them, the choices that redirected their paths, the hardships that tested their faith, and the victories that reminded them they were stronger than they knew.

These are stories of mothers and daughters, friendship and family, service and sacrifice, faith and forgiveness, heartbreak and healing. They remind us that a life is never measured simply by accomplishments or the number of years we have been given. One story reveals how a youthful decision became a lifetime lesson; another traces how childhood faith, family, and even painful scars became the foundation for a life devoted to helping others; and another reflects on how a lifetime of memories, wisdom, and love can be passed down as a lasting legacy to future generations.

Together, these voices illuminate a beautiful truth:

The candles mark the years.
The memories give them meaning.
The milestones tell us where we've been.
But the light we leave behind tells the story of whom we became.

Counting Candles is more than a collection of memories. It is a legacy in words.
