College life for Cassandra Warren was supposed to be a chance to find something extraordinary as she dove into Anthropology. But there is nothing fantastic about tests, day jobs, and ex-boyfriends.

Until the dragons came. Thrown into chaos by unseen forces, Cass accidentally intercepts an ancient tome that only she can read. Her college life is flipped upside down when the mysterious book summons a dragon that has come with a dire message: an ancient evil is after the book and only she can save it.

Cast into an international adventure and danger, Cass must fight not only the mysterious faction that seeks the Script and the dragons it hides, but must also find it within herself to be the hero and protect the dragons.
