Suerella, once bound to Liere through the Cycle's engineered tether, is dragged into the mountains by the Foulmires in a desperate attempt to sever the connection that has tormented her since rebirth. But the Range is no sanctuary. It is alive, ancient, and older than the Cycle itself. As Suerella's tether collapses into nothingness, the cavern awakens - an entity forged in the earliest fractures of creation, watching, evaluating, and deciding whether she is worthy of reclamation.

While the Foulmires struggle to understand the intelligence pulsing through the stone, the entity begins a slow, deliberate assessment of Suerella's origin. It peels back the Cycle's corruption layer by layer, revealing the truth of what she was meant to be before Liere rewrote her existence. The cavern does not simply hide her - it studies her, weighs her, and considers her potential for a purpose far greater than the Cycle ever intended.

At the same time, far away in Lod Angelless, Liere feels the impossible: silence where Suerella's tether should be. The Abyssal returns broken, unable to breach the Range's ancient defenses. The Cycle falters, its architecture destabilizing under the touch of a force it cannot interpret. For the first time in her life, Liere faces something she cannot command - something that reaches into the Cycle itself and rewrites its code.

When Liere attempts to forcefully stop the integration, the entity sees her intent. With cosmic precision, it rips Suerella and the Unmare out of the Cycle entirely, then forces the corrupted vessel-code back into Liere. In a single devastating act, Liere is unmade - stripped of her empire, her lineage, and her authority. The Cycle redefines her identity, returning her to the origin she tried to bury: Suerella Liere Slopwell, the unwanted child of a surrogate she disowned.

Now, the false ruler of the Foulmire Empire stands alone, severed from her power, forced into the destiny she once crafted for another. And deep within the Hollow Range, the ancient entity continues its evaluation - preparing Suerella for a purpose that may reshape the fate of the Foulmire Empire, the Cycle, and the world itself.
