Loxo the Big-Hearted Elephant

In Loxo the Big-Hearted Elephant, we learn how one elephant's actions can benefit a wide variety of creatures, such as: impalas, ants, termites, oxpeckers, and dung beetles. Whether it's through dropped branches, removed bark, or the dung they leave behind, this playful story shows how important keystone species are for their environment.

Colorfully illustrated and filled with fun facts throughout, we follow Loxo as they search for food throughout their day ultimately arriving at a bee-protected mango farm. There, we learn how humans can work in harmony with their environment through innovative methods. By the end of the day, Loxo reunites with other elephants by the waterhole where they all enjoy some tasty figs and a cool drink.
