Covering the Western states of Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho, he braved the harshest elements and most rugged terrains, as well as bears, cougars, and rattlesnakes, to photographically capture these iconic feral bovines in their natural environment. This required several years, journeying thousands of miles, and hiking through every type of wilderness during all four seasons.
