Created by an elementary school teacher, The Calendar Kids Book Series is a tool for educators and parents to help their students and children connect with the events and weather that take place during different months of the year. While teaching, author April Martin discovered there were not many books about the months of the year. That is where her very own name gave her an idea! She created characters with names of the months and visuals about the months in their hairstyles and outfits for children to know and love.
