Description:

The Sacred Link is a powerful and timely translation of Naqā' al-Salāfah, a seminal treatise by the revered Imām Aḥmad Riḍā Khān al-Qādirī, may Allāh sanctify his secret. This work addresses the essential rulings and wisdoms surrounding bayʿah (spiritual allegiance) and khilāfah (spiritual successorship) within the traditional Ṣūfī framework.

This treatise responds to eight key questions related to spiritual guidance, the need for a shaykh, the categories of khilāfah, and the criteria for establishing spiritual authority. With a firm rooting in classical jurisprudence and a profound spiritual depth, the Imām highlights the critical importance of preserving the sacred chain that links seekers back to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ through qualified guides.

Translated with precision and spiritual care by Muftī Sayyid ʿAbdul Ṣamad al-Qādirī, The Sacred Link offers both scholars and seekers a deep well of insight into the intertwined paths of Sharīʿah and Ṭarīqah.
