Lord's Prayer for Children

When we teach our children to pray, we are teaching them how to talk to their Father in heaven.

There are many prayers in the Bible. Abraham prayed for a son, Moses for the judgment of Israel, David for safety from wicked King Saul, and more. Even Jesus prayed, in the garden of Gethsemane! This book will teach your children about how important it is to talk to God in prayer-from asking for daily needs, to confessing our sins and seeking forgiveness, to thanking him for every breath. Children will learn what a wonderful gift prayer is! Parents, grandparents, teachers, pastors, and more will be led to see the importance of their calling to teach the youngest of Jesus' disciples to pray.

This book explains and applies the opening address, the six petitions, and the closing doxology of the Lord's Prayer. Chapters include discussion questions, a Bible memory verse, and a related psalm to be sung.
