Enzo: Protector of Humanity

Magic, mayhem and murder are just the beginning . . .

Protector Enzo Thornton has taken the motto of his shapeshifting species to heart: Protect human life. The Protectorate stands between humanity and the supernatural threats that fill the world, keeping humans safe and oblivious from the dangerous entities that lurk in the dark or in broad daylight.

When Enzo stumbles across what appears to be a simple human-on-human mugging gone wrong, he springs into action, realizing too late that the situation is more magical than it first appeared-and far more dangerous.

As Enzo continues his pursuit of an elusive and powerful witch, he delves further into the magical underworld. Bizarre denizens help and hinder his investigations, including an ancient, powerful, braces-wearing vampire; a vicious pack of hellhound Chihuahuas; and snappish werewolf cop and her too-observant human partner.

Can Enzo get to the bottom of the case with his life-and, more important, his reputation?
