When Dad Got His Wings

Sometimes saying goodbye is one of the hardest things a little heart will ever have to do.

Beneath the branches of a beautiful willow tree lives a loving Caterpillar family. Their days are filled with sunshine, flowers, picnics, and Baby Caterpillar's favorite thing of all-spending time with Daddy.

But when Daddy Caterpillar becomes too tired and sick to visit the flower garden, Mommy gently explains that the time has come for Daddy to enter his cocoon and get his wings. Baby must learn what it means to say goodbye, to cry when his heart is sad, and to hold tightly to the wonderful memories he and Daddy made together.
