Love Contract

He needs a bride by New Year's. It definitely shouldn't be her.

Anthony

If I don't get married by New Year's Eve, I'll lose my trust fund.

It wouldn't be a problem if my fiancée hadn't just left me for my college friend. Now, I'm left with a cancelled wedding, zero interest in a relationship, and a ticking clock...

So I hire The Love Fixers, a business that assists the romantically challenged, to help me find a woman who's willing to enter into a mutually beneficial sham marriage.

But then I meet Rosie.

She's chaotic. She's blunt. And she lights a fire in me.

She's not interested in marriage, fake or otherwise, so I definitely shouldn't be spending time with her, but I can't seem to stop. And when she meets my ex-fiancée, she throws her arms around me and announces she's my lover.

Everything snowballs from there, and suddenly I'm fake engaged to a woman I might want more than my inheritance.

Rosie

Let the record show: I did not intend to propose to Anthony. I was defending him from his ex.

It escalated quickly, though, the way things tend to do with me.

I thought he was cold and detached, but it turns out he's a modern-day Mr. Darcy who needs some help having fun.

The more time we spend pretending to be in love, the harder it is to remember we're not supposed to be.

But I have a secret. And if it comes out, it won't just ruin our fake engagement-

It could cost him everything.
