Shining a light from the attic window of Lacey Manor on Halloween night, is a rite of passage and now it's Todd's turn. He enlists the help of his best friend, Louise. She is afraid to go, but because of pinky promises, she must go with him. Halloween arrives and the pair head to the manor covered in ghostly garb. After braving the dark, the shadows, and the scary sounds, they make it to the door of the attic.
But then, Todd disappears.
A note from the author:
This story was a bedtime story I told my children when they were seven and ten-years old. That was twenty-three years ago but I'm finally getting it into print. I hope you enjoy it as much as my children did. it is meant for second or third grade but I think anyone will enjoy reading or listening to it.
