Through highs and lows in our ordinary lives, we suffer pain and disappointment. Bad things do happen to good people. We can live with the frustrations, or we can work to overcome them. If we foster the Spirit of Jesus in his courage, compassion, and a lasting spirit of love and forgiveness, we can become happier, more peaceful, and joyful people every day.

Marsha Garrett has been a high school teacher and college professor for 45 years. She has also taught bible class at her local church for the same length of time. Her goal in this book is to glorify God for all of His love and care that He had heaped on her whole life. Its hope is to encourage all of us to develop the qualities of our Savior that will help us through those trying times that come and see those blessings in our lives that will bring us closer to them every day.
