Thistlewood Rewrite

Thistlewood never changes.

The leaves stay gold, the air stays sweet, and Eloise Quinn's tea stays a perfect 140 degrees.

In her apothecary at the edge of her property, Eloise sells remedies that always seem to work, though no one ever calls her a witch anymore.

She should be happy here, with him.

Ezra Ashby has always been her constant: patient, kind, the safe place she's never questioned.

But as soon as she begins to fall, the world starts to slip.

The leaves hang in the air too long. Shadows move where they shouldn't. And every night, a stranger finds her in her dreams-his touch too real, his voice too familiar, his name always just out of reach.

As the line between dream and memory begins to blur, the cracks in Thistlewood's endless autumn start to show.

Eloise must face the truth hidden beneath the golden calm: the life she's living was never meant to exist.

And the realization she never meant to find is the one that will unravel everything.

Some loves soothe you. Others haunt you.
