Dogs Need Shelter, Yes They Do!

Everybody knows that dogs need food and water, but did you know they need shelter, too? Here's the book that explains to kids why shelter is so important to keep dogs comfortable and safe.

It's a fact that not all dogs live inside. For dogs that spend time outside in the cold, we need to make sure they are safe and warm in their shelter. On the flip side, dogs that live in warm climates need protection from the sun so they don't get too hot. Indoor dogs also need safe living conditions free of hazards.

Like other picture books in Robin Lapre's collection, Dogs Need Shelter, Yes They Do! gives practical advice that helps kids become knowledgeable pet owners. There are even discussion questions and answers to make an easy lesson plan. So many animal welfare issues stem from children never learning the basics.

Reading about pet care is extra fun when the story rhymes and has cute illustrations! You are never too young or too old to learn about responsible pet ownership! Written for ages 5-8, with good information for everyone.
