She Rises in Fire

She doesn't walk out of the ashes.

She rises from them-

wild-haired and wide-eyed, not broken, not bitter,

but born anew.

Every scar is a scripture.

Every tear, a baptism.

And every time the world told her no,

she wrote herself a fiercer yes.

There's no rescue coming.

There never was.

She is the siren, the sword, the spark.

And she is not sorry for surviving.

She rises in fire-

and she's never going back to smoke.
