Double Barrel: Two Brig Ellis Tales

Double Barrel features Brig Ellis, a contemporary private investigator based in San Diego. He's his own boss, has more black ops skills than cyber smarts, a loner, a maverick...life's better that way when any moment could be his last.

In The Black Pagoda, Ellis searches for a missing friend in Bangkok. The search unveils a criminal cabal's fiendish plan to brainwash his friend into assassinating international leaders. Ellis must choose between duty and loyalty before someone else dies.

In Asphalt Sonata, Ellis provides security for a famous writer's book tour from Chicago to Santa Monica along the legendary Route 66 highway. The tour, however, is stalked by a serial killer, and the cops suspect him of murder.
