Silvia Krisant had no use for heroics.

Her release from prison was supposed to be a new beginning. The perfect time to salvage what remained of her life, and start over in the city of Saint Bralen. A demon attack shifted the trajectory of her life. As magical lightning fell from the sky, the survivors determined that Silvia was the source. The people claimed that she possessed the blood of angels in her veins.

Thrust into the role of savior, two constables and a mercenary accompany Silvia as she travels to the capital of the Kingdom of Gracia. Demon ambushes are the least of her worries, as Silvia finds herself trapped within a centuries long power struggle between the Crown and Church. Uncertain of herself and her own abilities, Silvia must navigate against both human and demonic forces to survive and become the hero the people need.
