Finding Innocence

Sergeant Rebecca Farnsworth was alone, unarmed, and simply following instructions when she was attacked and left for dead in a deserted part of a sprawling military installation. But her superiors see things differently. Instead of victim, they see her as the perpetrator and charge her with dereliction of duty and drug use. Defended by a tough-as-nails attorney, she is acquitted on a technicality. Unsatisfied, however, with the judge's pronouncement that she is "not guilty," it will take Rebecca twenty years to prove her innocence and, along the way, change forever the direction of her life.
