Trevelyn Cottage Chronicles: Tales of Doors Between Worlds and the Skeptic Who Must Guard Them

Meredith Trevelyn does not believe in her grandmother's talk of doors between worlds. She is a London risk analyst, fluent in probability and precaution, and the cottage she has just inherited on the Cornish cliffs is simply property with one strange condition: she must live there a year, in a house that has been waiting three hundred years to disagree.

Then a door opens onto a forest with two moons, a fox pours her tea, and something old and hungry begins testing the threshold. The barriers between worlds are failing. Only a Trevelyn can hold them.

Across twelve linked stories, Meredith crosses into worlds of crystal, dream, clockwork, and memory, meeting beings who have lost their homes, their hours, their dead. She cannot help them lay their grief down until she faces her own.

For readers of The Enchanted Workshop and The Inn at Thistledown Hollow, and for anyone who loved The Keeper of Lost Things, this is fantasy with a griever's heart and a guardian's spine.

Some inheritances arrive without asking, and this one answers the door.

Open the first door tonight.
