Heather grew up writing creatively and entered her work into school newspapers, while also being selected to publish numerous times in her school's literary magazine, Reflections. She believes in walking to beat of your own drum and has had the bucket list goal of publishing a children's book that embodies that theme for as long as she can remember. Heather is very excited to make that dream come true and hopes it will inspire kids, teens, adults alike to not be afraid to be who they are. Heather is a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts in private practice. She also offers Reiki and teaches yoga with a specialty in restorative. Heather volunteers for the blind and vision impaired by recording audiobooks and radioplays. In her spare time she enjoys singing in a community chorus, acting in community theater, nature walks, traveling, watching horror movies, eating chocolate, spending quality time with friends and family, and hanging with her cat, Milo.
