Upwards of sixty feet in length, with a serpentine body, tale of a whale, and the head of a dragon, this creature is one of the most documented cryptids in the world. It has also become a major tourist attraction and mascot for residents of the Okanagan Valley.

But there's more to Ogopogo than the countless sightings, frightening folk tales, and children's books. The story of Ogopogo dates back to before European settlers arrived in the region. To the Indigenous people who first called the land home, Ogopogo is more than just a monster - it's a spiritual being of great significance.
