She's On Fire

She's On Fire is the story of Captain Kimberly Ross, a Black woman as fearless as one could be in one of the world's most dangerous professions. Captain Ross and her crew, Rescue Squad 6, are the Navy Seals of Pittsburgh's Fire House 10. They always arrive on the scene with their A-game, refusing to back down from any emergency, no matter how perilous. Every day on the job is a challenge for Kim, the youngest woman to ever captain such an elite unit, but she rises to it, riding with her crew until the wheels fall off.

However, one challenge Kim has not been successful at is finding love. So far, love has damaged her mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and physically, to the point where she doesn't believe she will ever experience it. Then, a replacement comes to join her squad when one of her crew members suffers a horrible accident. Kim isn't exactly happy about it-that is, until she lays eyes on the dangerously hot Benjamin King. He soon has Kim ready to smack him and kiss him, as he so effortlessly sets her soul on fire in a way she never thought could burn so effing good!
